Terms of Use

CAROD is a marketplace. We connect licensed PCO drivers with professional fleet owners, verify documents, and facilitate booking and payment.

We are not the vehicle owner and we are not the rental provider. When you rent a vehicle, your rental contract is with the fleet owner who supplies it. They are responsible for supplying, insuring and maintaining that vehicle. CAROD is not the insurer and does not accept private hire passenger bookings.

• You must hold a current driving licence and a current PCO/PHV driver licence.
• You must upload genuine documents and tell us their real expiry dates.
• You must be verified before you can request a booking.
• If a required document expires, you cannot make new bookings until you renew it.
• You are responsible for the vehicle while it is in your possession, on the terms of the rental agreement you sign with the fleet owner.

• You must have the right to rent out every vehicle you list.
• Listings must be accurate — price, deposit, mileage and terms included.
• Your account must be approved and your payout onboarding complete before your vehicles are visible to drivers.
• You are the contracting rental party and remain responsible for insurance, maintenance and roadworthiness.

Our fees are set out on the pricing page and are shown before you commit to anything.

We may suspend an account for fraud, misuse, falsified documents, or repeated failure to pay. We will tell you why.

We are responsible for operating the marketplace with reasonable care. We are not responsible for the condition of a vehicle, the conduct of a fleet owner or driver, or losses arising from a rental contract we are not party to. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
