Getting started
- Register your business and wait for approval.
- Complete Stripe onboarding so payouts can reach you.
- Add vehicles with pricing, deposit and collection location.
- Accept or decline booking requests from verified drivers.
- Hand the vehicle over and get paid weekly.
Common questions
How do I sign in?
With the mobile number your fleet is registered under. We text you a one-time code. Email alone is no longer accepted as a sign-in method.
When do my vehicles go live?
Once your account is approved by our team and each vehicle has been reviewed. Vehicles awaiting approval are visible to you but not to drivers.
What does CAROD charge?
Commission capped at £12 per active vehicle per week, deducted from your payout. Nothing is charged for a vehicle that is not on rent.
How do I get paid?
Through Stripe. You will need to complete Stripe onboarding before payouts can be released.
Who checks the driver?
CAROD verifies identity, driving licence and PCO licence, and monitors expiry dates. You see the verification result when reviewing a booking request. Eligibility for your own insurance remains your decision.
Can I take a vehicle off the road?
Yes — mark it unavailable from your Vehicles tab. A vehicle with a live booking cannot be taken off the road without dealing with that booking first.
